01 — The Logo

Primary Lockup

The logo consists of three elements: the dot-grid mark, a vertical rule separator, and the wordmark. These three elements always appear together in the primary lockup and are never rearranged or broken apart.

LIGHT — PRIMARY
MERCOR WEALTH PRIVATE CAPITAL
DARK — SECONDARY
MERCOR WEALTH PRIVATE CAPITAL

Use the light version on off-white and white backgrounds. Use the dark version on dark or near-black backgrounds. Never place either version on a coloured or photographic background.

Compact Lockup

A secondary lockup without the Private Capital descriptor. Use in contexts where the name alone is sufficient — internal documents, correspondence headers, digital interfaces, and anywhere a cleaner mark is preferred.

COMPACT LIGHT
MERCOR WEALTH
COMPACT DARK
MERCOR WEALTH
SurfaceWhen to use compact
Internal documentsPreferred — the document context makes the company clear
Email signatureEither version works — compact is cleaner for frequent use
Digital / websiteCompact suits nav bars and tight digital spaces
External formal correspondenceUse the full lockup with Private Capital
New counterparty / first impressionUse the full lockup — descriptor adds context

02 — The Mark

Dot Grid Symbol

The dot grid is Mercor Wealth's standalone symbol. It functions independently of the wordmark in contexts where the name is already established — such as document headers, favicon, embossed stationery, or digital icons. It represents systematic thinking, precision, and the focal point of capital.

The nine dots form a 3×3 grid. Eight outer dots are muted. The centre dot is the focal point — always rendered in full contrast. This asymmetry of weight is intentional: one point of clarity within a field of structure.

ContextUse mark alone?Note
Favicon / app iconYESMark only, dark centre on off-white or dark bg
Document header (internal)YESMark only when company name appears in body
Email signatureNOUse full or compact lockup — mark alone is not sufficient
External correspondenceNOAlways use full lockup
Embossed stationeryYESMark only, debossed or blind emboss
Watermark on documentsYESMark at low opacity (10–15%)

03 — Colour

Palette

The palette is deliberately narrow. Two backgrounds, one near-black, and a muted stone for supporting elements. Colour should never compete with the typography or the mark.

RuleDivider lines, borders, and structural grid elements only.

04 — Typography

Type System

A single typeface — Inter — used across all weights and sizes. The hierarchy is achieved through weight, tracking, and size alone. No decorative or display fonts are introduced.

Inter is free and open-source, licensed under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1 — fully free for commercial use. Download and install it so it is available in Word, PowerPoint, Canva, and every other application.

05 — Usage by Surface

When to Use What

Different surfaces call for different versions. Use the version that creates the clearest contrast and the most composed appearance.

06 — Clear Space & Sizing

Minimum Clear Space

The logo must always be surrounded by clear space equal to the height of the dot grid. Nothing — text, borders, images, or other elements — may enter this zone.

Minimum display size: the full lockup should never be reproduced smaller than 160px wide in digital or 35mm wide in print. Below this size, use the mark alone.

The proportions of all logo elements — mark, vertical rule, and wordmark — are fixed across both the full and compact lockups. Do not scale individual elements independently.

08 — Document Templates

Templates

Click any highlighted text to edit it. Use the + / - buttons to add or remove rows. When done, click Print to save as PDF — all editing UI disappears in print.

Dashed underlines = editable. Click to type. All editing UI is hidden when printing.

09 — Downloads

Logo Files

SVG is the master format — infinitely scalable, no quality loss. PNG is what you'll use day-to-day: email signatures, Word documents, prop firm portals, Canva.

PNG uses @2× pixel density so logos remain sharp on retina/high-DPI screens. The dimensions shown are the display size — the file is twice that in pixels.

07 — What Not to Do

Common Violations

These are non-negotiable. The identity is precise and any deviation — however small — undermines the brand.

DO NOT — Recolour the logo

The logo appears only in #1C1C1C on light backgrounds or #F8F7F4 on dark backgrounds. No other colours.

DO NOT — Add a drop shadow or glow

No effects. No shadows, gradients, glows, or outlines applied to any element of the logo.

DO NOT — Stretch or distort

Always scale proportionally. The lockup is a fixed unit. Never compress or elongate any element.

DO NOT — Change the typeface

Inter is the only permitted typeface for the wordmark. No substitutions, even visually similar ones.

DO NOT — Place on colour or photography

The logo only appears on off-white, white, or near-black backgrounds. No coloured panels, no images behind the logo.

DO NOT — Rearrange the elements

The mark, rule, and wordmark are a fixed lockup. Do not move, remove, or reorder any element.

DO NOT — Use gold, colour accents, or gradients

The brand is monochromatic. No accent colours of any kind are introduced into the identity system.

DO NOT — Add a strapline or slogan

The compact lockup (without Private Capital) is an approved variant. No new straplines, taglines, or descriptors beyond the approved elements.
